Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Maintenance department and is accountable for facility safety, equipment maintenance, and grounds.2.Develops and maintains written maintenance policies and procedures.3.Determines departmental staffing requirements necessary to meet the maintenance department's needs.4.Schedules department work hours (including vacation and holiday schedules), personnel, work assignments, etc., to expedite work.5.Reviews and checks competence of maintenance personnel and makes necessary adjustments/corrections as required or that may become necessary.6.Ensures regulatory compliance for safety, equipment, building and health care specific facilities.7.Ensures that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.QUALIFICATIONSSUMMARY OF
Qualifications:
1.High school graduate preferred; technical or vocational education preferred.2.Minimum of one (1) year experience in Maintenance Director capacityProven ability to supervise others, lead a team and work in a cohesive environment.3.Knowledgeable of current fire, safety, and building code regulatory compliance.4.Must be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to meet facility needs. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
